The Week’s Most-Added Songs: September 28, 2015

Thomas Rhett leads the way but new singles from Lauren Alaina, Dustin Lynch, and iconGeorge Strait also debut with brand new singles.

With 56 adds on the first day it could be added to country radio playlists, Thomas Rhett’s “Die A Happy Man” is off to a flying start but also has 73 total adds out of a possible 154 stations which report to the Country Airchck/Mediabase radio charts. Lauren Alaina is second with 44 adds this week with pop-leaning single “Next Boyfriend,” a song from her EP which hits stores on Friday. Dustin Lynch’s “Mind Reader,” from Where It’s At, sits at #3 with 40 adds on release week George Strait’s “Cold Beer Conversation” is at #4 in a tie with Sam Hunt’s fourth single from Montebello, “Break Up In A Small Town.” The singles had 27 adds this week with Hunt’s having a total of 95 to date.

At #6 is Zac Brown Band’s “Beautiful Drug,” a song with 84 stations on board already while Rascal Flatts fourth single from Rewind is at 86 total adds while Chris Young picks up another 13 adds with 152 total stations and Brothers Osborne’s break out single “Stay A Little Longer” is up to 151 total stations while Joe Nichols “Freaks Like Me” is at 39 total with a tie with BR.OS. with 12 adds this week.
