Craig Morgan releases New Single “When I’m Gone”

New single is the lead single from the Grand Ole Opry member’s forthcoming album to be released via Black River Entertainment in 2016.

After working in the studio for eight months to get the right songs and sound for his next album project, Craig Morgan has chosen to release “When I’m Gone” as his next single. The song, written by Justin Ebach and Steven Dale Jones is an uptempo yet introspective look into Craig Morgan’s life motto, encapsulating his free spirit and no regrets attitude towards life.

“’When I’m Gone’ is one of those songs where the first time I heard it, I knew I had to record it because it’s so exactly me” shared Craig. “It’s no secret I’ve got an adventurous side. I’ve been a rodeo clown, I’ve raced sled dogs in the Arctic, and I’ve broken more bones than I can count. But more than anything else, I want to be remembered as the guy who lived his life to the fullest with and for my family and friends. That’s what I want my legacy to be.”

The singer behind “This Ole Boy,” “Wake Up Lovin’ You,” “That’s What I Love About Sunday” and “Almost Home” is hard at work on his forthcoming third project for Black River Entertainment as he is working with noted producer Byron Gallimore for the first time (Gallimore is Tim McGraw’s longtime producer). They’re honing in on defining a distinctly authentic sound for Craig to work with. In addition to his singing, Craig Morgan is also the host of Craig Morgan: All Access Outdoors and he spent 17 years serving the USA in the Army and Army Reserves.

"When I'm Gone" will be available to purchase at digital retailers like iTunes and GooglePlay on September 18 and will hit radio starting September 21.
