Dallas Smith Signs With Blaster Records

Award-winning artist will release new single “Kids With Cars” to US Radio in September.

After working with Big Loud Mountain as an independent artist in the USA, Canadian Country star Dallas Smith signs record deal with US Imprint Blaster Records, the current label home of artists like James Otto, Chuck Wicks and Montgomery Gentry.

“Nothing excites us more than being involved with great music and with passionate, committed people,” says Blaster Records’ President Derek Simon. “We loved the music Dallas was making and jumped at the chance to partner with Big Loud Mountain to become his American label.  Spend 10 minutes watching one of Dallas' shows and it’s clear how special of a singer and performer he is. The new music he's making is so strong and compelling and we couldn’t ask for better partners than Craig, Seth, Chief and Joey.”

"It's great to collaborate with the team at Blaster. They are equally as passionate as I am," shares Dallas Smith. “I’m excited to continue to build on what we are doing and take it to the next level."

With two successful albums to his credit in Canada (Jumped Right In and Lifted), Dallas Smith has topped the charts there with songs like “Wastin’ Gas,” “Lifted” and “Tippin’ Point.” He’s also scored Canadian Country Music Awards and is up for four more in 2015 (“Album of the Year” for Lifted, “Single of the Year” for “Wasting Gas, Male Artist of the Year and Fans’ Choice Award. Earlier this year he won the JUNO (Canada’s Grammy) for County Album of the Year for Lifted. Dallas is currently in the studio recording his third album project with longtime friend and producer Joey Moi (Jake Owen, Florida Georgia Line). The project will mark his USA full-length debut.
