This is also noteworthy for the singles discussion (not posted when I wrote this), as this greatly increases the chances of a successful Country to Mainstream radio crossover for Sam Hunt's. But this helps "Montevallo" on the BB 200 chart too. Hunt's "House Party" debuted on Spotify's Top 50 two days ago at #49, and has risen 49-45-41. This will help "Montevallo" on the BB 200 (includes On-Demand Streaming, not Video Streaming), and should get it over the barriers that blocked "Take Your Time's" ascent at Top 40 Radio. Neither TYT or "Girl Crush" ever made it onto ST50 chart. "21" did for one day. But you really have to go back to 2014, when FGL had two songs, "Dirt" and "This Is How We Roll" (with Luke Bryan, aided by remix with Jason Derulo) and Jason Aldean's "Burning It Down" (should've been sent for crossover given sales and streaming) was on the ST50 for a few weeks. And Luke Bryan had three songs from 2013's"Crash My Party" reach the ST50: title track, "That's My Kind Of Night," and "Play It Again" (2014) (the latter two could've/should've been crossovers, but we've been there already). Also, Hunt's"House Party" is also uptempo, which is more like what Top 40 virtually demands or otherwise demands you provide a remix. I think Hunt could really have a big hit with HP. It should easily win Streaming Gainer on BB's HCS Chart next week. And the streaming will help it climb on the Hot 100, which held back TYT and GC even with good sales and airplay numbers. Only "Cruise" has done really well on streaming (Top 5 On Demand and Overall) thanks in large part to the Nelly remix, and that's why FGL made it up to #4 on the Hot 100 with Cruise.
