Home Free To Make Grand Ole Opry Debut

The five-piece a cappella band from Minnesota will perform their first original song while making their debut appearance at the iconic venue.

Known for their tight a cappella renditions of today’s biggest country and pop hits, Home Free ( Austin Brown, Rob Lundquist, Chris Rupp, Tim Foust, Adam Rupp) has exploded on the scene with over 150,000 copies of their albums Crazy Life and Full of Cheer in the hands of their fans, affectionately known as Home Fries. There will be Home Fries in Nashville as Home Free makes their debut on the iconic Grand Ole Opry Stage this Friday, July 17.

"We are absolutely thrilled about our debut at the Grand Ole Opry. It is a rite of passage for country artists and we are honored to have been invited to that sacred stage," shared Home Free’s Tim Foust.

The band, Winners of NBC’s “The Sing-Off.” will perform “Summer In The Country” during their appearance in the hallowed circle and proving ground for country music’s best and brightest. They’ll share the stage with Vince Gill, Larry Gatlin & The Gatlin Brothers and The SteelDrivers in Friday’s lineup which begins at 7:00 pm.

The five-piece band will hit the road this fall with a huge string of dates which will cover over 47 cities where they will share their high-energy, quick-witted humor-laced performers across North America. The tour will be called the Don’t It Feel Good Tour and will be in support of their upcoming album set to be released by Columbia Records.
