Rising singer/songwriter/guitarist Mitchell Tenpenny is set to release his next single from his self-titled album which was released earlier this year. Born and raised in Nashville, Tenpenny is an engaging young talent with his ability to write strong, sturdy songs like "Love & Rock N' Roll" which showcase his unique vocals (think John Mayer) and strong guitar playing ability.
What Mitchell has to say on the song:
“Love & Rock n’ Roll” actually was written in college between my junior and senior years during the summer and I just remember going out to the lake one day and one of my friends, a real pretty girl was sitting next to me in the front seat and I remember looking over and thinking how important that person is next to me. You’re just enjoying being in the moment and listening to the radio. That’s really how the song came about and I went home and had a melody going. All the song is about is enjoying who you’re with at the time and cranking up that radio.”
