Steven Tyler Releases Debut Country Music Video

Music video is for his Top 40 hit "Love Is Your Name," the lead single from his country and solo debut for Dot Records.

Iconic songwriter and prolific singer STEVEN TYLER released the music video for his debut Country single “Love Is Your Name” on ABC’s Good Morning America earlier today. Tyler, who was recently signed to Dot Records underneath the Big Machine Label Group umbrella (Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw), was very involved in the creative direction of the video alongside director Trey Fanjoy. The “gypsy chic” video, as Tyler calls it, was shot just outside of Nashville’s city limits. Watch the video above.

“This video has so many personal elements in it for me. I came from a family that was a touring band. I grew up as a young boy with my pet raccoon and my slingshot. My real band Loving Mary is featured in the video,” explained Tyler. “This song and video both resemble what the album will sound like.”

“Love Is Your Name” is currently working its way up the Country radio charts. The single was lauded Rolling Stone, USA Today and Billboard.

Tyler is considered one of music's most recognizable and dynamic frontmen and has been cited by Rolling Stone as "one of the greatest singers of all time." Tyler and Aerosmith have sold more than 150 million records worldwide. He has won four Grammy Awards, six American Music Awards, four Billboard Music Awards, and an Emmy Award. In addition to having nine #1 hits, 25 gold, 18 platinum and 12 multi-platinum album certifications, Tyler, along with the rest of his band members were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. In 2013, Tyler was awarded with the Founders Award at the ASCAP Pop Awards and was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
