Country Album Chart Report for July 1, 2015

Our weekly look at the best-selling songs tells us just how many albums Kacey Musgraves, Canaan Smith and Corey Smith sold last week.

Kacey Musgraves' Pageant Material debuts at #1 on this week's look at the Country Album Chart Report for July 1, 2015 with nearly 55k fans buying her sophomore album for Mercury Nashville last week. Sam Hunt's Montevallosits at #2 with sales now at over 609k to date while Zac Brown Band's Jekyll + Hyde sits at 415k to date. Canaan Smith debuts at #4 with Bronco having scanned 12k in its opening frame. Sitting at #5 is Now Country 8. It has scanned over 48k in 3 weeks on the chart.

Top Ten Recap

Little Big Town sits at #6 with Pain Killer, a record which has scanned 274k to date. Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard's Django & Jimmie has scanned 65k to date and sits at #7 this week. Landing at #8 is the Platinum-certified The Outsiders from Eric Church. Brantley Gilbert's Just As I Am sits at #9 with 852k scanned. Rounding out the Top 10 of the Country Album Chart Report for July 1, 2015 is Jason Aldean's Old Boots, New Dirt. It is certified Platinum and has scanned 983k to date.

    With all the people pushing her as the greatest thing ever and Grammy wins and Katy Perry and only 55,000....yikes. I guess it doesn't matter since she got #1 even with that sad amount. Lots of the guys have had less on their CDs but w/ all the praise and BJ written about her this has got to be a letdown.
