Thomas Rhett Announces “Tangled Up” Release Date

Rising star’s sophomore album for The Valory Music Co. will hit stores on September 25, 2015.

With “Crash And Burn” already a huge hit both digitally (Sales and streaming) and on the radio charts, rising star Thomas Rhett is ready to release the followup to, It Goes Like This, his 2013 debut for The Valory Music Co. To be titled Tangled Up, the album will hit stores September 25, 2015 and will feature “Crash And Burn” along with a bunch of other songs that blend contemporary soul, classic R&B, country and roots sounds into a blender.

“This album is something we’ve been working on for two years and musically, it really pulls from all the things I have been inspired by during that time," says Thomas Rhett. "The title Tangled Up comes from a lyric in one of the new songs, and I think it's a cool way to point to all the different influences that I have as an artist and a songwriter – from soul and r&b to old school country to rock and everything in between. They are all in this record!"

Rhett is one of a handful of young stars, along with Brett Eldridge, Kip Moore, Tyler Farr, Randy Houser and Brothers Osborne to blend multiple influences into their singular vision for what their modern country music means to them and Tangled Up is a perfect example of this new sound.
