Country Album Chart Report for June 18, 2015

A Thousand Horses, Dale Watson and Laura Bell Bundy make their debut on the chart.

The eighth edition of the various artist compilation Now That's What I Call Country debuts at #1 on this week's look at the Country Album Chart Report for June 18, 2015. Zac Brown Band's Jekyll+Hyde remains 2015's best-selling all-new release with 382.8k scanned to date while their new label mates with Republic Records, A Thousand Horses, debut with Southernality at #3. The band found nearly 17,000 fans in their first week out, giving them the second-best sales week for a debuting artist in 2015 behind Chris Stapleton. At #4 is Sam Hunt's nearly 600k scanned Montevallo. "House Party" from the album is at country radio now. Rounding out the Top 5 is last week's #1 album, Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard's Django and Jimmie album. It has now sold nearly 45k in two weeks.

Brantley Gilberts' Just Who I Am [Platinum Edition] sits at #6 with 836k scanned to date while Eric Church is at #7 with The Outsiders. Little Big Town (whose Jimi Westbrook is on vocal rest through all of July) find Pain Killerat #8. at #9 is Billy Currington with Summer Forever and Jason Aldean rounds out the Top 10 with his latest, Old Boots, New Dirt.
