LOCASH Treats Southwest Flight to Impromptu Concert

Reviver Records duo gives fans a pop-up concert while flying on Southwest Airlines this week.

At 35,000 feet above ground on a flight from Pittsburgh to Baltimore, rising country music duo LOCASH surprised a flight attendant with an impromptu concert for her birthday. The duo was taking a Southwest Airlines flight from their performance on Y108's Tiki Town stage as part of Kenny Chesney's concert in Pittsburgh to Baltimore, for their Saturday, May 30, show at Ram's Head On Stage, when one of the flight attendants recognized the duo’s Preston Brust and Chris Lucas and asked them to help celebrate her colleague's special day with a few songs.

With no hesitation as the the clouds cascaded by, the duo broke out their guitars and rocked the skies right from the plane's cabin. They sang their current single "I Love This Life," which is currently at No. 47 on the Country Billboard chart and swiftly climbing, alongside their newly recorded "I Know Somebody," penned by Rhett Akins, Ross Copperman and Jeremy Stover. Fellow passengers on board excitedly whipped out their cell phones to capture it all on video.
