Chase Bryant Hosts Country Music Hall of Fame Event Thursday

Rising star behind "Take It On Back" and "Little Bit Of You" to host latest teaching event at the Nashville-based museum.

On Thursday, May 21, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum will celebrate its flagship education program, Words & Music. For 36 years, Words & Music has connected students with professional songwriters for a one-of-a-kind lesson in musical composition and language skills, offering educators a unique approach to teaching core curriculum.

Since its inception in 1979, over 100,000 students and teachers have participated in Words & Music. The heart of the museum’s school programs, Words & Music allows students to express themselves through creative writing while connecting them with Nashville’s songwriting community.

Middle Tennessee participants and their families will gather at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s Ford Theater for Words & Music Night, the annual year-end celebration featuring performances of original songs composed in the program by students alongside a professional songwriting partner. Hosted by singer-songwriter Chase Bryant, the invitation-only event begins at 6:00 p.m.

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s Ford Theater is located at 222 5th Avenue South in Nashville. To learn more about the Words & Music program, visit http://countrymusichalloffame.org/wordsandmusic.
