Jana kramer To Return To Opry Tuesday

Talented singer to perform her hot new single "I Got The Boy" on the hallowed, iconic stage.

Jana Kramer's new single "I Got The Boy" is all about recalling the past, and next Tuesday April 28, Kramer will take the historic Grand Ole Opry stage like so many great country singers have before.

“It’s such an honor to play the Opry and share the stage that has been home to so much history,” says Kramer. “The Opry has a special place in my heart, and I can’t wait to be back."

And Kramer is making history of her own. The most played debut artist at Country Radio for 2012, Kramer was also named the most added female at country radio upon release of “I Got The Boy” and has sold nearly 2 million total singles to date. She will be co-headlining CMT's Next Women of Country Tour with Kelsea Ballerini kicking off April 30 in Grand Rapids, MI and hitting cities all over the country including Chicago, IL on May 8 and Charlotte, NC on May 17.

Her newest single “I Got The Boy," a hauntingly beautiful song about watching a past flame move on, hit close to home when Kramer heard it for the first time. “I’ve been trying to write this song about my high school sweetheart for years,” she says. “It’s amazing how songwriters can write your life and these lyrics say what I was trying to write for years.”

“I Got The Boy” is impacting radio now and will be featured on her forthcoming album produced by Scott Hendricks and due later this year. The 2012 ACM New Female Vocalist of the Year and platinum-selling artist wrote more than half of the songs for the upcoming project.
