With 58,500 albums sold, Reba McEntire's Love Somebody debuts at #1, giving her a baker's dozen albums in the top slot. Dwight Yoakam's Second Hand Heart debuts at #2, his best debut in years while the album's #18 debut on the all-genre chart ties the singer's best debut ever with his previous album 3 Pears. Sam Hunt sits at #3 again with the Gold-certified Montevallo while while Florida Georgia Line's Anything Goes is now at 606k scanned to hold down #4. Next is the ACM Awards 50 double disc set gains in sales to bring total sales to over 34k in three weeks to round out the Top 5 of the Country Album Chart Report for Aprill 22, 2015.

At #6, on the Country Album Chart Report For April 22, 2015, we find Darius Rucker's Southern Style which has sold nearly 82k in three weeks while Little Big Town's Pain Killer jumps into the Top 10 thanks to the ACM Awards performance of "Girl Crush." Meanwhile, Eric Church's The Outsiders is at #8 with sales at nearly 909k. Luke Bryan's Spring Break...Checkin' Out, comes in at #9 while Miranda Lambert's Platinum returns to the Top 10 with a post-ACM Awards boost. All these albums should still see Post-ACM boosts on the next chart as well as these boosts are directly, post-ACM digital sales boosts only and many country fans still love their CDs.

When does RIAA Usually certify Gold/Platinum? I know when its certified it never really is at the true 500k-1mil mark. Is it usually 700k for platinum and 350 for gold?

The RIAA certifies when labels submit songs and albums and videos for RIAA. In the USA, Gold = 500k and Platinum = 1 million with Diamond = 10 million. Certification comes from sales to retailers (and consumers because of digital). So when you see albums with sales of 800k being certified Platinum, it's because there are already 200k copies of an album out in the retail channels and those products were sold by labels to retailers.
