The Most-Added Songs at Country Radio: March 24, 2015

This week's list of the Most-Added Songs at Country Radio: March 24, 2015 fee atures a bunch of big stars with four new songs hitting the chart for the first time. Jason Aldean is the most-added at Mediabase this week with 60 stations adding the superstar's third single from Old Boots, New Dirt to their chart while Lady Antebelum's "Long Stretch Of Love," (also THEIR third single from 747) scored 32 stations in its first official add week at radio (an add week is the first official week the record label promoters request a station puts a song on playlists for airplay rotation). RaeLynn's sophomore single "For A Boy" is #3 this week with 31 stations adding it in its first week with 5 additional stations adding the song in advance of the add date, never a bad thing for a singer like RaeLynn (who already had a nice debut on last week's digital singles sales chart). Cam is the last of the newcomers in the Top 10 with "My Mistake" getting 39 total adds by the official debut week. Rounding out the Top 5 is Kacey Musgraves' "Biscuits." The single now has 68 adds in two weeks on the air. Luke Bryan's "Games" continues to find favor with radio stations wanting to play something new from the star who's in between official albums (his Spring Break...Checkin' Out project debuted last week; "Games" is on that album).

Eric Church is at #7 this week with "Like A Wrecking Ball" which has 116 stations on it in just a few short weeks. It may not be the 'outlaw rocker' many fans expect from the star but his ballads ("Springsteen," "Talladega," etc. have always done well on country radio). at #8 is Dan+Shay with "Nothin' Like You," their third single from Where It All Began. Florida Georgia Line's own third single from Anything Goes is "Sippin' On Fire." The single which never had a "true" add date is at #9, tied with "Already Callin' You Mine" from Parmalee, their fourth single (but third since the album Feels Like Carolina was released). So I guess, that makes this week, the official "third single week" on the Most-Added Songs at Country Radio: March 24, 2015 chart.
