Blake Shelton's "Lonely Tonight" Certified Gold

Becomes 18th Gold-Certified Single for iconic reigning CMA and ACM Male Vocalist of the year.

Blake Shelton’s “Lonely Tonight,” which recently became his 14th consecutive No. 1 single, has now officially been certified gold by the RIAA. The Academy of Country Music Awards-nominated duet with Warner Bros. Records label mate and friend Ashley Monroe became Shelton’s 19th No. 1 overall and 18th gold-certified single to date (which includes all 14 consecutive No. 1’s).

“Lonely Tonight” is the second No. 1 single from his new album Bringing Back the Sunshine for “The Voice” coach, Country Music Association Awards Entertainer of the Year and reigning five-time Male Vocalist of the Year. Shelton started the eighth season of “The Voice” earlier this year with the popular coach pursuing Team Blake’s fifth win.

Shelton is also preparing to co-host the 50th ACM Awards with Luke Bryan at the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas where he is also nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year. The performer will play a selection of major festival dates through this summer.

Ashley Monroe's current single "On To Something Good" is now currently available at radio.
