RaeLynn Set To Appear On Today Show

Rising singer/songwriter will perform her Top 20 hit “God Made Girls” on the NBC Program.

RaeLynn is set to perform her Gold-certified Top 20 hit “God Made Girls” on the Today show next week. The single, which is the only debut single released in 2014 from a solo female artist to secure Gold and was also the highest-charting single form a solo debut female artist in 2014. The singer’s follow-up single, “For A Boy,” will hit iTunes on the same day as her Today performance, March 9. The song officially will impact country radio on March 23.

On Saturday March 7, RaeLynn will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of National Music In Our Schools Month with a week-long bus tour that kicks off during Festival Disney at Walt Disney Resort in Florida. The vibrant 20-year-old will hit the road to encourage today’s youth to “Always Sing,” a mantra fittingly used as the title to a song she wrote for the initiative.

Joining Give a Note Foundation and Radio Disney to share the message that music belongs in schools, RaeLynn will visit five communities – Sayville High School in West Sayville, NY, near Long Island (March 9); Bowie High School in Bowie, MD, near Washington, DC, (March 10); Mason Elementary in Canton, OH, near Cleveland (March 11); Ridgeview Elementary in Hobart, IN, near Chicago, IL (March 12); and Thomas Jefferson Elementary in Jeffersonville, IN, near Louisville, KY (March 13) – where student ensembles will perform “Always Sing.” Additionally, RaeLynn will perform a special private concert at each stop with Radio Disney's on-air personality Brooke Taylor hosting the on-site activities. Culminating on March 14, students from Head Middle School in Nashville, TN will perform with RaeLynn at the Grand Ole Opry.
