Shania Twain Announces Farewell Tour

Iconic Country Star appeared on ABC TV to Announce the 2015 Rock This Country Tour, her follow-up to her Las Vegas Residency which will be chronicled in a CD/DVD set released next week.

After 11 years away, Shania Twain has announced she’s returning to the road. But before getting excited about her doing annual tours, there's something you should know. The still-young singer has revealed that this will be her final, farewell tour.

“This is going to be a big tour for me because it’s going to be my last,” Twain revealed on Good Morning America. “This is my last tour. I’m going to make the most of it. Let’s put it that way.”

Shania promises fans will see a dynamic experience.

Radio.com learned yesterday that the show will be a “rock-meets-country show” with “a lot of…edge.”

The tour kicks off June 5 in Seattle and will hit 48 stops along the way, all in North America. newcomer Wes Mack will perform as the opening act for shows from June 5-June 28 with Gavin DeGraw opening the June 30-August 23 shows.
