Florida Georgia Line Take "Sun Daze" To #1

Award-winning and ACM Entertainer of the Year Nominees hit #1 for the 6th time in a row.

While most of the East is dealing with ice and snow this week, the boys of Florida Georgia Line are getting their "Sun Daze" on by topping both the Mediabase and Billboard Country Airplay charts.

The gold-certified single is featured on the duo's gold, chart-topping sophomore album Anything Goes, and marked their sixth chart-topping hit of their career.

"We are real proud of 'Sun Daze' because that song came about so late in the game," says FGL's Brian Kelley. "It was one of the last ballpark tour dates we did with Nelly, but we were still finishing up the album and inspired to write that day. We thought we pretty much had every song we wanted but this one definitely kicked one of the songs off. It shows that right down to the wire you need to keep writing and stay in your creative zone. We knew we had something special."

“We can’t begin to thank country radio and our fans enough for all of the support for our music and what we do,” adds FGL’s Tyler Hubbard. “We have been beyond blessed the past few years and know that we wouldn’t be here without you. Can’t wait to see everyone out on the road!”

FGL is currently in the midst of their Anything Goes Tour 2015, where they have appropriately earned themselves the No. 3 spot on the most successful treks, right behind Andre Rieu and Billy Joel, and solidified them as the lead country act on the list. The award-winning duo kicked off their North American tour with a sold-out show at the Huntington Center in Toledo, OH, on January 15 and boasts total attendance surpassing the 60,000 mark in the first six cities.

In addition to the Anything Goes Tour stops, fans can catch FGL at several festivals nationwide and select stadium dates on Luke Bryan's Kick Up The Dust Tour.

In April, the reigning ACM and CMA Vocal Duo of the Year is up for a total of ACM Award nominations including their first nod for the prestigious and fan-voted Entertainer of the Year.
