Country Music's Top 30 Digital Singles: Week of February 11, 2015

Thomas Rhett (Pictured) has two of the Top 5 tracks this week and is one of six artists with two songs in this week's chart.

At #1 on Country Music's Top 30 Digital Singles: Week of February 11, 2015 chart is Sam Hunt's "Take Your Time" a song which has now sold nearly 390k to date while Thomas Rhett's cover of Bruno Mars' "When I Was Your Man" debuts at #2 with 28k scanned. Blake Shelton and Ashley Monroe's "Lonely Tonight" sits at #3 with sales now at 371k to date while Thomas Rhett's "Make Me Wanna" slides to #4 with sales of 26k to bring totals for the single over 431k. Luke Bryan's "I See You" rounds out the Top 5 and has now scanned 396k to date. It's a multi-week radio airplay #1 and is the 6th and final #1 single from Crash My Party (which is a new Mediabase radio chart record).

Top 10 Notes

Zac Brown Band's three week old "Homegrown" sits at #6 this week with total sales now at 144k scanned to date. Eric Church's former radio #1 hit "Talladega" sits at #7 this week with sales of 467k to date ensuring the single will eventually score a Gold RIAA certification. Florida Georgia Line's "Sun Daze" is at #8 this week with sales now at 470k to date (it's #2 on the radio airplay chart). Lee Brice's "Drinking Class" is also close to Gold status with 461k fans now owning the second single from I Don't Dance (which is also at #9 this week). Cole Swindell's third single from his self-titled debut, "Ain't Worth The Whiskey," is at #10 with sales now at 316k.

Notable Track Notes

Jason Aldean has a pair of tracks just outside of the Top 10 with "Burnin' It Down" and "Just Gettin' Started." Little Big Town's "Girl Crush" continues to be one of the best-selling songs outside of the Top 30 with sales of 130k to date while  Carrie Underwood's "Something In The Water" slides into the Notables section with sales now at 844k for the seven week Billboard Hot Country Songs #1 (a record for her). Carrie's "Little Toy Guns" remains in the Top 30 this week as well with sales now at 44k to date for the second single from her Greatest Hits project. Dierks Bentley's "Say You Do" rises this week while Miranda Lambert's Grammy performance helps "Little Red Wagon" join the Top 30. A Thousand Horses is rising with "Smoke" while Eric Paslay's "She Don't Love You" is gaining in sales as well (the same thing can be said for Jake Owen's "What We Ain't Got" proving along with "Girl Crush" that ballads DO sell).

  • Heartland at #31 with "I Loved Her First" now Platinum (the band is one of the true one hit wonders)
  • Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's timeless "Fishin' In The Dark" with 994k scanned at #33
  • Sam Hunt "Break Up In A Small Town" at #35 with 256k scanned to date (for a non single)
  • Kelsea Ballerini  "Love Me Like You Mean It" at #53 with sales of 60k to date (5k this week)
  • Brandy Clark at #62 with "Hold My Hand" (re-issue sales now at 8k to date, went from 21 to 5,034 this week)
  • Tim McGraw "Don't Take The Girl" at #69 with sales now Platinum (1.015m to date)

    I wish there was some type of honor for the songs on formats with lower download totals when the songs reach 1.5 million digital downloads. Jason Aldean's "Burning It Down" should get there next week, but I doubt it will ever reach 2 million.

    actually Don't Take The Girl was certified 2 x platinum digital on December 1st 2009 same time It's Your Love was for digital sales of 2,000,000 each and the later had also been certified for 2 million physical sales
