The song, which was recorded for Brooks’ The Ultimate Hits album, was (and still is) the only single to ever debut at #1 on Billboard’s radio chart. It was also Lee Brice’s first #1 success as a songwriter. Eli Young Band’s “Crazy Girl” was also a # hit song as a writer for Lee Brice. Other hits write by for Brice include “Only God Could Love You More,” “Shinin’ On Me,” “Buzz Back Girl” with Jerrod Niemann, “Crazy Days” and “What It Takes” for Adam Gregory and “Still” from Tim McGraw.

Lee Brice has since scored #1 hits with “A Woman Like You,” “Hard To Love” and “I Drive Your Truck.” He’s got one more song as a #1 songwriter, “I Don’t Dance,” the most-recent #1 hit of his career. His current single is “Drinking Class."
