James Carothers Signs Tour Booking Deal

Rising country traditionalist signs with Nashville-based Third Coast Talent agency.

Rising singer/songwriter James Carothers is set to become the next hot traditionalist on the indie scene. The singer/songwriter, who released Honky Tonk Land in late 2014, has announced that this week he’s signed a deal with booking agent Third Coast Talent.

The singer, who has as distinctive a baritone vocal as any artist can possibly have in 2015, recently made the move to Nashville after years of honing his skills in the Southwest. “It was important to me to get back to my roots," observes the native Tennessean.  "And this is still where the rubber meets the road on the business end of things."

Carothers album was produced and released through Renegade Mountain Records and is an eight track collection of his own original tracks, including “New Country Singers” and “I Must Be Alive,” his current single.

For folks in or around Nashville, you can catch Carothers on Tuesday, Jan 20, 2014 at Third and Lindsley to during the DRX Showcase show.
