Kenny Chesney Launches "The Big Revival Tour"

Tour to kick off with a "Birthday Bash" in Nashville on March 26, 2015.

When you name your tour with the word “Big” in the title, you better bring a big experience if you’re the headliner. Fortunately for fans, that’s EXACTLY what Kenny Chesney is doing with his 2015 The Big Revival Tour, taking the experience to America. The country music icon and future hall of fame member certainly thought the entire process out. How to play nearly two dozen NFL stadiums and make sure even the nosebleeds have a good time? Check. Scaling those shows and sets down for Amphitheaters and Arenas? Check.

“For all the time we had to create for The Big Revival Tour,” Chesney says, “I wanted to make sure the fans got to experience it. I love amphitheaters and all the fun... But I want to give the fans the same impact with the show, because The Big Revival Tour’s set up to be pretty special.”

The shows on the Big Revival Tour are mostly going to be played in enclosed arenas and the superstar’s dates have not all been announced yet, especially because he’s choosing the best venues to create the whole Big Revival experience where it doesn’t lose the impact felt at the stadium shows. Below you’ll see a list of dates that have been announced and after that year off the road to plot this tour and record his new The Big Revival album, Chesney will open with a Birthday Bash event at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on March 26, 2015.
“I can’t begin to describe the difference spending the time and being able to really focus on creating an album in terms of the songs, the production, the intensity,” Chesney says. “It feels like the same way we put this year’s tour together! We had more time to consider what we wanted, so we were able to get more creative and could dream a little more wide open...
“A year away from the fans, whether people realize it or not, is hard on me. I live to play – as much as I live to write songs and make music. So I’m ready to get out there and play this new music for people. I want give them a taste of how good The Big Revival is -- and hear them singing ‘Til It’s Gone,’ ‘American Kids’ or even ‘The Big Revival’ back to me!”

Chesney’s arena shows will feature Jake Owen and Chase Rice, while the stadium dates will have a shifting line-up of many of country’s biggest names including Jason Aldean, Eric Church and Brantley Gilbert.
