  • Blake Shelton Performs 'Boys 'Round Here' and 'Neon Light' on SNL - CelebIntel

[…] “Neon Light” was the lead single from Shelton’s eighth album, Bringing Back the Sunshine, released in September 2014. It’s sold nearly 500,000 copies as of this month. […]

Play It Again is almost at two million downloads after the Christmas boost! I see an estimate this week for 18k, which would put PIA at 1,999,000. I think the estimate will fall slightly, but it looks like my favorite song of 2014 will reached Double Platinum within the next two weeks!

Thanks for the sales numbers, Matt. Do you happen to have the sales for Christmas week? It would be nice to know what kind of sales bump that was when compared these numbers. Also, hope you'll post the weekly album sales. Thanks!

    • Matt Bjorke

The post-Christmas sales for singles were about 40-50% higher than this week's numbers. Some songs (Craig Wayne Boyd) fell off the chart so I don't have the ability to make a true chart for the previous week.

Miranda, Reba and Zac Brown all have singles coming out next week...what do you think they will debut at. Reba is #1 on itunes country but every so often Tim McGraw takes it back. They keep going back and forth. But the single has no radio airplay coming to debut. Miranda's Little Red Wagon already has airplay so would that help her start atleast in the top 30s. ?

Reba will debut in the Top 10-15 area. Zac Brown Band's single isn't hitting iTunes until Next week so it will not be on the charts at all. Miranda's single will rise when it hits the airplay of the Top 30. It's a little bit of a divisive song so it'll either sell really well or it'll will be a very low seller.
