For the first time in his career, Frankie Ballard has joined the pantheon of country stars who have appeared on the iconic ABC TV program Jimmy Kimmel Live, a program which has helped define late night television in the 2010s. Frankie Ballard will debut on the progrma on Thursday, January 8 at 11:35 PM ET.
Quickly rising star Frankie Ballard is set to debut his new single “Young & Crazy” on the program alone with performing “Sunshine & Whiskey,” the star’s second-consecutive #1 hit. Ballard’s first #1 hit was the Gold-certified “Helluva Life” and “Sunshine & Whiskey” quickly followed suit and also was certified Gold. Both the singles appear on Ballard’s break-out 2014 album release Sunshine & Whiskey. The singer worked with producer Marshall Altman to record the project and he’s found a perfect blend of his blues-infused Detroit-influenced sound with the country music sounds he grew up listening to. The singer has been in Nashville since 2009 after leaving Battle Creek Michigan to pursue his career in country music.
