The 40th Anniversary Volunteer Jam Lineup Revealed

Charlie Daniels announces the stars who will help him for the the unique, once-in-a-lifetime event.

It’s been 40 years for Charlie Daniels to deliver his Volunteer Jam charity event, an event he never knew would grow into one of Nashville and the country music world’s biggest charities.

“We never had any idea how big it would become,” broadcasting around the world and on Voice of America. “We thought it was a hometown thing. We never realized it would become an international event.”

The 2015 event will be held at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on August 12, 2015. The event will feature Travis Tritt, Lee Roy Parnell, Montgomery Gentry, Billy Ray Cyrus, the Outlaws and The Kentucky Headhunters. More artists will be announced soon. There will also be some surprise unannounced acts.

The Volunteer jam has had stars like James Brown, Billy Joel, Garth Brooks and Don Henley among their roster of guests through the years and Charlie Daniels is still hoping there’ll be more of them coming along in the future.

“I hope to see more Nashville Volunteer Jams in the future.  I’m very very excited to continue the Jam tradition 40 years later. “Ain’t it good to be alive and be in Tennessee.”

The proceeds from the 2015 event will go to The Journey Home Project, a non-profit founded by Daniels to help the Veterans of the United States Armed Forces and The Predators Foundation, which funnels the excitement of pro sports awards the needs of the Nashville community.

Tickets go on sale Friday January 2015 at 10:00 Am CST at the Bridgestone Arena and all Ticketmaster locations. Tickets will be $500 VIP, $40 and $17.68 before taxes and fees.
