A Thousand Horses Release Debut Single

Republic Nashville quartet's rockin' "Smoke" set to hit radio in January.

Country music has been growing on the fringes with harder-edged bands like Blackberry Smoke, BlackJack Billy and The Cadillac Three and, now, A Thousand Horses looking to join Zac Brown Band  and Whiskey Myers as harbingers of the Southern Rock and folk tradition, with a heavy emphasis on the rockin’ side.

With their blend of blue collar values and modern southern rock, A Thousand Horses may be the most-likely to succeed in this endeavor. Featuring vocalist Michael Hobby, lead guitarist Bill Satcher, guitarist Zach Brown and bassist Graham Deloach. Their first single, “Smoke” showcases just how much the band could breakout in 2015 as they’re one of the season’s first new stars.

The Band signed with Republic Nashville’s roster in June of 2014 and are managed by McGhee Entertainment, the management firm which also works with Darius Rucker and KISS.

“Smoke” will hit radio on January 20, 2015. You can now request the song at your local radio stations.
