Craig Wayne Boyd Wins The Voice Season 7

Instant star releases debut single to iTunes and scores immediate success.

The Nashville-based 35 year old takes home the trophy with strong support throughout music industry. Boyd's story is a typical one in Nashville. Years of working hard to be an artist and songwriter, working with a small record label (where he recorded I Ain't No Quitter) and toured small clubs and venues across the southeast.

The Texas native's brand of country music is the soulful variety. The kind that builds its momentum through lyric and emotion. As he proved throughout his time on The Voice, Craig Wayne Boyd has the kind of talent to do well in the mainstream field, particularly now that he's won the program's seventh season, becoming the third country singer to win the program after Cassadee Pope and Danielle Bradbery (both "Team Blake" members).

You can buy his entire album from his time The Voice, which includes the single "My Baby's Got A Smile On Her Face," here.
