Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real Continue Road Warrior Ways

Country Rock band formed by son of country icon Willie Nelson continues to spend most of its time touring the USA.

Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real are one of few artists in music that continuously hits the road, bringing their music to their fans night after night. "There's nothing like the excitement of playing live, but it's really special when we get to play so many shows for causes that mean a lot to us," says Lukas Nelson as he and Promise of the New head into their final handful of dates for 2014.

Some of those causes include performing at the Farm Aid 2014 concert in North Carolina, Harvest the Hope: A Concert to Protect the Heartland in Nebraska in September, and The Bridge School Benefit Concert, which helps individuals with severe speech and physical impairments, in San Francisco in October.

At Harvest the Hope, Lukas Nelson (vocals/guitar), Anthony Logerfo (drums), Corey McCormick (bass), and Tato Melgar (percussion), along with Lukas' brother Micah were honored to perform as the backing band for one of their musical heroes and sources of inspiration both onstage and off, Neil Young.
