Sara Evans has released her brand new music video for her latest single, "Put My Heart Down." The song, written by Nathan Chapman, Andrew Dorff, and Elizabeth Huett, is the second release from  her critically acclaimed seventh studio album Slow Me Down, released earlier this year.

The video, which was shot in Nashville at the historical Riverside Mansion, had Evans working again with Award-winning director Peter Zavadil (Eric Church, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley) who has worked with the songtress on almost all of her videos including her most recent for “Slow Me Down.”

“One of the things that attracted me most to record 'Put My Heart Down' was that it's a sad song with a happy melody," Evans explains. "I like the contradiction and I think it makes for a really interesting overall song. Peter found a great way to bring that contradiction to the screen with the light bulbs and showing them eventually exploding. You have such beautiful and pretty scenes with the soft lighting and beautiful mansion, contradicted by the exploding bulbs. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.”

”Put My Heart Down” is the follow-up to Slow Me Down’s title track, released earlier this Fall, which is Evans’ biggest first week country radio added single ever and 14th Top 20 single. Slow Me Down debuted at No. 2 on the Country Album Chart and landed in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart.
