Jake Owen's Powerful "What We Ain't Got" is Making Waves

Single is gaining a lot of buzz and praise amongst fans.

Jake Owen’s “What We Ain’t Got” may be taking a slower ride up the charts than he’s used to but for the star vocalist, it’s well worth the slow ride. Written by Travis Jerome Goff and Travis Meadows, “What We Ain’t Got” comes from Meadows own hardscrabble life story and Owen, who owned Meadows album “Killin’ Uncle Buzzy” and was passionate enough to record the song and then request that his label allow him to release the song as a single.

It has sold pretty well for a traditional-leaning ballad and it’s also started to gain praise from fans via the Bullseye Audience Callout America polls. The song is Top 10 in all radio’s monitored demographics, including #6 with listeners aged 18+. It’s the #5 song with the core audience aged 25-44 and #4 for the same category’s men and #8 for females.

“What We Ain’t Got” is also very popular in the cities of Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Omaha, Wichita, Atlanta, Columbia, SC, Charlotte, Nashville, Pittsburg, Providence, Roanoke, VA, Denver, Houston, Phoenix, Portland and Sacremento.

Jake Owen recently released a lyric video for the song which features Travis Meadows. You can watch the lyric video here.
