Steve Wariner Helps O'Shea Score #1 Single In Australia

"Bad Day Good" is the lead single from O'Shea's upcoming album project. Steve Wariner co-wrote the tune.

Australian duo O’Shea has topped the charts of their home country’s Country Music Channel (CMC)’s Top 50 Chart this week with the inventive "Bad Day Good" music video. The seventh #1 video for O’Shea, the song also is the first chart-topping video for Steve Wariner in Australia. Wariner co-wrote the song with Mark and Jay O’Shea and played guitar on the single. He also appeared in the video.

“Wow! I’m thrilled that the fans in Australia have enjoyed ‘Bad Day Good,’” said Wariner. “I truly am the lucky one… getting to write, then record, with the mega-talented duo O’Shea. They keep me on my toes (and keep me smiling!), not only musically but all the way around. Mark and Jay are great people who make great music.”

In just 14 days since the video was uploaded to Facebook, “Bad Day Good” has had more than 195,000 views, more than 6,000 shares, and has inspired a new movement of random acts of kindness with the hashtag #BadDayGood.
Earlier this week (Oct. 27) in Nashville, O’Shea joined Wariner for a performance of “Bad Day Good” and the pop/rock classic “Drift Away” at Acme Feed & Seed’s The Hatchery. Wariner will perform again at Acme on Monday, Nov. 10, and tickets can be purchased at www.theacmenashville.com/calendar.

Steve Wariner’s most recent album is called “It Ain’t All Bad.” O’Shea’s next album, featuring “Bad Day Good” is set to be released soon.
