Top Ten Recap
Kenny Chesney's The Big Revival leaps off the page at #6 this week with 10k fans taking home the album (for a total of 213k scanned so far) and sits ahead of fellow superstar Luke Bryan's juggernaut Crash My Party. The album has scanned 2.18 million copies to date (over 1.25 million of those in 2013). George Strait's The Cowboy Rides Away sits next with 114k scanned while at #9 is Tim McGraw with Sundown Heaven Town at #9 and sales of 131k to date. Rounding out the Top 10 is FGL's Here's To The Good Times, their double platinum debut for Republic Nashville.
Notable Album Recap
Brantley Gilbert's Just As I Am scanned past the 601k mark while Alabama's Angels Among Us: Hyms And Gospel Favorites scanned another 5k bringing the legends to 45k scanned for an album previously only available at Cracker Barrel. Chase Rice scans past the 100k mark with Ignite The Night while The Swon Brothers remain on our rundown in their second week on the chart. Sturgill Simpson's Meta Modern Sounds In Country Music sits on our rundown with 2,600 fans taking the album home. The out of mainstream artist has scanned 42,000 copies of the album since its release earlier this year via Thirty Tigers.
Finally, three Taylor Swift albums (all country music releases, for the most part) hit the Top 200 so we thought we'd share the sales figures with you for RED, Speak Now and her sophomore Fearless. With her 1989 likely to debut with over 1,000,000 albums scanned, Taylor Swift is set to become the first artist to have three albums sell over 1,000,000 their first week (RED and Speak Now are the others). RED has sold nearly 4.1 million, Speak Now has sold over 4.4 million and Fearless has sold nearly 6.9 million to date.
Next week, we should also see high debuts from Sam Hunt (he'll get the Country #1 slot and likely #2 genre overall), Wade Bowen, Stoney LaRue and maybe Gretchen Wilson and Joey+Rory.

Matt Bjorke, could you PLEASE include Miranda Lambert's album numbers in your report? Yet again another week that you haven't included her in "notable other albums". Come on man this is getting ridiculous to leave her out each and every week. Many of us would appreciate it.
Matt Bjorke
We mentioned it last week in that report (October 22). We don't have to mention it every week. (however, if it returns to the Top 10, we'll definitely mention it every week it remains there)
