Jason Aldean Tops the Charts With "Burning It Down"

The single is the latest chart-topper for the award-winning artist.

Congrats to Jason Aldean who scores himself yet another chart-topping hit this week, as his latest single, "Burning It Down," lands at No. 1 on the country singles chart.

The tune is Aldean's lead release from his new album, Old Boots, New Dirt. The No. 1 also is exciting for Florida Georgia Line's Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard, as they are writers on the song. This gives FGL back to back weeks at No. 1. Last week, they claimed the top slot with their latest single, "Dirt," which ironically was written by Rodney Clawson and Chris Tompkins, who are the co-writers on "Burning It Down."

Coming up behind Jason on the charts are songs by Sam Hunt ("Leave the Night On"), Blake Shelton ("Neon Light"), Chase Rice ("Ready Set Roll"), Frankie Ballard ("Sunshine & Whiskey"), Brantley Gilbert ("Small Town Throwdown"), Little Big Town ("Day Drinking") and Keith Urban ("Somewhere in My Car").
