The Grand Ole Opry will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Country Cares for St. Jude Kids during a special show set for Tuesday, September 23, 2014. Performers already scheduled for the show include the Charlie Daniels Band, Eric Paslay, the Opry debut of Maddie and Tae, and Brad Paisley, who will close the show with a 30-minute set including music from his newest CD, Moonshine in the Trunk.
During the show, photos and videos of special moments from 25 years of Country Cares for St. Jude Kids will be shared throughout Opry performances. A St. Jude patient also will appear as a guest announcer during the show.
A portion of the proceeds from all tickets sold for the show beginning today will go to Country Cares for St. Jude Kids. Special packages are also available that include Opry tickets and the new Paisley CD, with a portion of package proceeds also going to the hospital.
