Death at Hank Williams, Jr. Concert Ruled A Homicide

The tragic accident at the concert of the "original bro" reveals new details

Just when the news about alcohol related incidents and even deaths at Country concerts had died down, we got the news that the death of a 55 year old man following a recent Hank Williams, Jr. concert has been ruled a homicide by the Oakland County (MI) medical examiner’s office.

The apparent confrontation between the deceased man, Robert Kobe, and a teenager at the Icon’s recent Michigan concert lead to the boy shoving the 55 year old Kobe, who hit his head on the concrete. While witnesses and bystanders held the teenager until authorities arrived on the scene, Mr. Kobe was allowed to lay on the ground in his own blood.

Mr. Kobe later passed away. The teenager has been released until an investigation by the Oakland County sherriff’s department is completed.

The man was friends with the teenager’s father and apparently they all went to the concert together. Mr. Kobe’s own son believes the whole event was a tragic accident and that his own father could’ve provoked the confrontation.
