George Strait is set to give fans something to remember his well-attended “The Cowboy Rides Away Tour” shows by with the release of a 20-track live recording of his momentous finale at AT&T Stadium. The Cowboy Rides Away: Live From AT&T Stadium commemorates a night of celebration for one of Country music’s most-iconic and influential figures.
The album is set to hit stores on September 16, 2014 and will be released by MCA Nashville. Included on the album set are guest stars Jason Aldean, Ray Benson, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Sheryl Crow, Vince Gill, Faith Hill, Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert and Martina McBride. George’s son, George “Bubba” Strait, Jr. also guests on the album. Among the songs on the album are many of the Icon’s 60 #1 hits.
The event will also soon be broadcast as a special 2 hour concert by CMT.
