Colt Ford Achieves Massive Milestone

The Rural Rap star marks an achievement without ever scoring major radio airplay.

Six years after Colt Ford released his debut album, Ride Through the Country, he is celebrating a career milestone. The collection of songs has officially sold an aggregate of one million tracks since its release.

The exciting news comes on the heels of Ford’s July 1 album release, Thanks For Listening, which landed at No. 1 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart, No. 2 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and in the Top Ten on the Billboard 200 Albums chart.

Ford is also celebrating his collaboration with Brad Paisley on the remix of Paisley’s hit, "River Bank," released last week, and his selection in Clear Channel's Digital Artist Integration Program for the month of August. As part of Clear Channel's multi-platformed Digital Artist Integration Program, Ford's new single, "Workin' On," can be heard streaming on 120-plus country radio stations nationally and on iHeartRadio platforms.

Currently on tour with Toby Keith, additional Fall concert dates will be announced in the coming weeks along with the details of Ford’s upcoming “Colt Ford & Friends 3rd Annual Celebrity Golf Classic” which benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
