Shania Twain To Dance on "Dancing With The Stars?"

The Country/Pop superstar isn't confirming or denying her involvement in the program which often features Country music stars.

Country Music stars have often proven popular on ABC's hit reality dance competition Dancing With The Stars. Sara Evans, Billy Ray Cyrus, Chuck Wicks, and Wynonna Judd have all made memorable turns on the dance floor, with Kellie Pickler even going so far as to take the mirrorball trophy in Season 16. Now rumors are swirling that superstar Shania Twain may be getting ready to slip into some ballroom heels in the near future.

A source tells Hollywood Life that “Those at DWTS are very confident that Shania Twain will join the show in its next season,” adding that "She is very, very close to signing on the show."
Twain herself has neither confirmed nor refuted the rumors, but when asked in a recent Facebook chat if she would ever join the show, she replied "I'd consider it!"
Whether she hits the dance floor or not, Twain indicates that she's definitely ready to make a full-fledged return to the spotlight and has plans to release new music soon. “It’s my priority this year and I will be in the studio as soon as I can get in, get my ducks in a row — I’m working on it all the time right now,” she says. “I’ve been writing for it for a long time now, I’ve got lots of things so it’s really about putting the puzzle together now.”
Season 19 of Dancing With The Stars is slated for a September 15 premiere, but we'll have to wait until the official cast announcement to find out if Twain will be among the contestants.
What do you think? Would she fit the program's schedule now, with her show in Las Vegas set?
