Chris Young’s celebrating his latest achievement, the #1 slot on the Mediabase Country Single chart. The single was also just certified Gold by the RIAA for digital track sales of over 500k, the second single from A.M. to score a Gold certification (and Top 5 hit) after lead single “Aw Naw.”
“Everybody is looking for that one person who lets them be themselves and, whether we want to admit it or not, pushes us to be a better person,” said Chris. “This song couldn’t say it any better and I’m glad I got to be the person to sing it.”
“Who I Am With You” was written by Marv Green, Jason Sellers and Paul Jenkins. The song recently also claimed the #1 slot on Rolling Stone’s Poll of the Best Country Songs of 2014. The 29-year old star also has earned rave reviews for his energetic live shows and he’ll hit the road this week with Dierks Bentley for shows at Colorado’s Red Rocks on July 23, LA’s The Greek Theater on July 25, the Ak-Chin Pavilion in Phoenix, AZ (July 26) and Sleep Train Amphitheater in Chula Vista, CA on July 27.
