"Beachin'" Tops Charts; Fifth #1 Hit for Jake Owen

Jake Owen Tops Chart With "Beachin'" and the single gives the star a milestone most artists strive to achieve.

Jake Owen's summer has definitely been "beachin'," and now, his hit song of the same name has added to the good times.

This week, "Beachin'" lands at the No. 1 spot on both the Mediabase and Billboard Country Airplay Charts. The infectious party anthem marks Owen’s fifth No. 1 single at Country radio and fastest selling hit to date.

“Beachin’” is from Owen's latest album Days of Gold, produced by Joey Moi.

In celebration of the golden times of summer, fans can post their photos and videos on Instagram or Twitter with hashtags #DAYSOFGOLD or #BEACHIN and these snapshots will be added to an infinity mosaic on the singer’s website.

Owen's 75-city plus Days of Gold tour will continue through October and wraps in his hometown of Vero Beach, FL. The trek also stars the Eli Young Band* along with Parmalee*, Thomas Rhett* and The Cadillac Three. (*select dates)

The song's success is also extra special for The Cadillac Three's Jaren Johnston, who co-wrote the tune. "Beachin'" is Johnston's third chart topping hit as a songwriter. His previous No. 1's include Keith Urban's "You Gonna Fly" and Tim McGraw's "Southern Girl."
