Billy Gilman Returns With New Single "Say You Will"

Billy Gilman has retuned with his first new single in six years and discusses why he's excited for this new chapter in his already successful, multi-platinum career.

Billy Gilman is back. The multi-platinum selling star (he’s sold 10 million albums worldwide and sold over two million copies of One Voice, his debut album, alone) returns for the first time since 2008 with the single “Say You Will.”

Written with Dan Murph and Philip Douglas, “Say You Will” is the former child-star (who is now in his mid 20s) showcasing that he still has the goods to be one of the music genre’s top stars.

In between his 2008 album and “Say You Will,” Gilman recruited fellow stars like Reba, Alan Jackson, Randy Travis, Amy Grant, Josh Turner, Kenny Rogers, Vince Gill and Keith Urban to perform on the charity single “The Choice” in 2012. The song found Gilman, Dan Murph and Philip Douglas sharing 100% of the proceeds (including publishing royalties) to Soles4Souls, which helps bring attention to the plight of children who are in desperate need of shoes.

The now 26 year old is eager to bring his new music to the fans, “It took me a good while to figure out exactly who I was, musically speaking,” he says. “As a little kid, sometimes I was just told what to sing. But now I have enjoyed coming into my own and discovering what it really is that I want to sing. I think that my fans will be pleasantly surprised with what they hear.”

"Say You Will" is available at iTunes now.
