Miranda Lambert's Dizzying "Platinum" Release Week Schedule

Miranda Lambert's week is busier than the average CMA Music Festival-going fan as she cris-crosses the country to promote her new album Platinum.

Miranda Lambert's highly anticipated new album Platinum is out tomorrow on RCA Records, and the reigning CMA and ACM Female Vocalist Of The Year is supporting the release with a series of television appearances.

Yesterday, CBS' Sunday Morning featuerd Lambert in a comprehensive profile from her hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Today, June 2, she will perform her recent Top 5 hit "Automatic" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and on Tuesday, June 3, she will appear on Good Morning America.

On Wednesday, Lambert will join forces with Carrie Underwood to perform their new duet "Somethin' Bad" (which debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Country Digital Songs chart this week) on the stage of the 2014 CMT Music Awards. Lambert is the leading nominee at this year's CMT Music Awards, with six nominations.

On Friday, June 6, Lambert will perform "Automatic" on The View, after which she will cap off a busy week with a performance at LP Field during the CMA Music Festival.

“I’m so excited to finally be releasing Platinum, and I can’t wait for everyone to have the opportunity to hear it,” said Lambert. “I feel I have a responsibility as a female artist, songwriter and musician to keep reinventing myself and stay fresh. I didn’t know exactly what that was going to be but I didn’t want a concrete plan that we were locked into. So I actually felt pretty vulnerable writing this album and picking songs, and I think you can hear that on the record.”
