Rising star signs to MCA Nashville, Set to release official single next week. Get full scoop on Sam Hunt's new deal and single here!

Sam Hunt is officially a new member of the record label MCA Records Nashville. While his debut single was released by the label a couple weeks ago, the news today officially confirms what has long been assumed in Country music circles. The paring brings the buzzworthy DYI artist together with the largest, most-iconic record label in Nashville.

UMG Nashville Chairman & CEO Mike Dungan shares, “Rarely have I met a new artist who felt so ‘ready to go,’ and yet our early efforts to take him to the market are yielding responses that are wildly beyond any expectations.  We are jacked!”

Hunt and MCA have released “Leave The Night On”  (Listen to acoustic mix here) to country radio next Monday and it is now part of Clear Channel’s “On The Verge” program and follows on the heels of the SiriusXM and Digital sales hit “Raised On It.”

The singer/songwriter has written songs for Kenny Chesney “Come Over,” Keith Urban (“Cop Car”) and Billy Currington (“We Are Tonight”), in addition to self-releasing a couple of mix tapes and has a large presence and following via YouTube, Facebook and Twitter, one of the first major new label artists to gain attention and fans via the newer social media platforms.

Sam is currently working on his debut album for MCA Nashville.
