Miranda Lambert's "Automatic" Reaches No. 1 on Country Singles Chart

Miranda Lambert's latest hit single has officially topped the country singles chart. "Automatic,” a song she co-wrote with Nicolle Galyon and Natalie Hemby, as a reminder to herself to slow things down, enjoy the moment and remember what it’s like to live more simply, marks the singer's sixth chart-topping hit.

“When we wrote this song, we knew it was special, and when it came time to decide on what would be the first single, ‘Automatic’ felt like the right choice because it’s so true to me and where I am in my life,” says Lambert.

“Automatic” is the first single from Lambert's new album Platinum. "This song is all about living in the now, and enjoying it, and I’m so grateful that people have responded so positively to it. I like simple things, and that’s how we live, and this song brings it back to that,” she says.

Following closely behind Lambert on the charts are Brett Eldredge's "Beat of the Music," Justin Moore's "Letting the Night Roll," Jake Owen's "Beachin'" and Blake Shelton/Gwen Sebastian's duet, "My Eyes."
