Luke Bryan Celebrates Double Platinum Album In Nashville

Luke Bryan was surprised with a major accomplishment for his not even year old Crash My Party album.

While celebrating four back-to-back number one hits lat week, Luke Bryan was surprised by UMG Nashville Chairman & CEO Mike Dungan with the news that his current album Crash My Party has been certified Double Platinum by the RIAA.

Released last summer, the album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, moving a whopping 528,000 units in its first week of release. The album has produced four chart-topping hit singles - "Crash My Party" (three weeks), "That's My Kind Of Night" (one week), "Drink A Beer" (three weeks), and "Play It Again" (four weeks).

In addition, current single “Play It Again” is the top song on the Slacker Top 40 – an all-genre chart pulled from total plays, shares and likes across all listeners on the digital streaming service, Slacker.com. Bryan is the first Country artist to top the Slacker Top 40.

Bryan is currently out on the road with his That's My Kind Of Night Tour. Visit www.lukebryan.com for tour dates and more information.
