Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan and Other Top Stars remain in Top 5 this week. Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert return to the Top 10 with “Somethin’ Bad.”
The entire Top 5 of this week’s chart remains the same as last week. There wasn’t really any new songs that piqued the interest of fans (Though Chris Lane did just debut outside the Top 30 with his new indie single). So that means that Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan, Jake Owen, Dierks Bentley and Lady Antebellum’s singles all remain in the same spots, no changes between the five this week. The one trend it seems is that “Drunk On A Plane” is well on its way to Gold and perhaps Platinum by the end of this summer.
Joe Nichols’ “Yeah” , Lee Brice’s “I Don’t Dance” and Miranda Lambert/Carrie Underwood’s “Somethin’ Bad” lead Top 10.
Lee Brice sits at #6 with “I Don’t Dance” a song which will surpass the Gold level needed for RIAA certification next week. Speaking of future Gold/Platinum songs, Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood’s “Somethin’ Bad” is this week’s Riser of the Week with sales up 39% (by far the best number this week) and that gives the superstars a single that’s now over 207k scanned to date. Blake Shelton’s “My Eyes” is at #8 with sales now at 345k, a song which will eventually surpass 500k in downloads (probably by the end of 2014). #9 holds Brantley Gilbert’s “Bottoms Up” and #10 holds -- for a 3rd week -- “Yeah” from Joe Nichols.
Notable tracks include “Where It’s At,” “Ready Set Roll,” “I Got A Car” and “Hope You Get Lonely Tonight.”
Chris Young’s “Who I Am With You” continues to march to Top 10 on the downloads charts and has sold 350k while Chase Rice is also inching close to the Top 10 with “Ready Set Roll.” His single has slowly but surely sold well and is only about 2 weeks away from 500k downloads sold. Rice is one of the co-writers of FGL’s “Cruise,” the best-selling country single of all time. at #13 is Dustin Lynch’s “Where It’s At” while Tim McGraw’s “Meanwhile, Back At Mama’s” is at #16 (up from 21) with sales of 180k to date. Little Big Town’s “Day Drinkin” has sold 70k in two weeks while George Strait’s “I Got A Car” has now sold 270k. AT #23 is Craig Campbell’s nearly 200k selling “Keep Them Kisses Comin’” while Cole Swindell’s at #25 with “Hope You Get Lonely Tonight” and at #26 is the radio airplay #1 “Beat Of The Music,” a song which is about 3 weeks away from giving Brett a second-consecutive Gold-certified single.
