Country Chart News: The Top 30 Digital Singles For May 14, 2014

Luke Bryan once-again holds down the pole position with his "Play It Again" single. He also holds #2 with Florida Georgia Line and Brantley Gilbert, "The Voice" and "Nashville" contribute to th chart.

Luke Bryan Holds Onto #1 and #2 (the latter a track with Florida Georgia Line) and Brantley Gilbert holds the #4, #5 & #12 slots.

This week, the Top 10 is dominated by Luke Bryan and Brantley Gilbert. Luke holds the #1 and #2 sales positions with his “Play It Again” and his featuring spot on Florida Georgia Line’s “This Is How We Roll” single. Both are Platinum-eligible singles while Blake Shelton’s “My Eyes” rockets to #3 this week and scores the “Riser of the Week” distinction with a 150% sales increase, likely due to his peroformance of the song featuring Gwen Sebastian on last week’s “The Voice.” Shelton is joined by Brantley Gilbert in rounding out the Top 5 with “17 Again” -- a preview track from the upcoming “Just As I Am” album and “Bottoms Up,” the lead single from the album. “Bottoms Up” is Platinum-eligible.

Top 10 Holds Jake Owen, Lee Brice, Thomas Rhett, Eric Church and Keith Urban.

Jake Owen’s “Beachin” may have temporarily slid outside the Top 5 but it’s only about three weeks away from scanning Gold, becoming the first single from his “Days Of Gold” album to do so. Lee Brice has sold nearly 300k copies of “I Don’t Dance,” the lead single from his upcoming third album for Curb Records. Keith Urban’s latest big hit “Cop Car” has sold nearly 650k tracks to land at #8 while Eric Church’s “Give Me Back My Hometown” sits at #9 this week and has also sold nearly 650k to date, the same which can be said about Thomas Rhett’s “Get Me Some of That,” the second consecutive Airplay #1 for the rising star signed to The Valory Music Co.

Notable Tracks include Chris Young’s “Who I AM With You,” Joe Nichols “Yeah,” Miranda Lambert’s “Automatic” and Dierks Bentley’s “Drunk On A Plane.”

Miranda Lambert sits at #11 with “Automatic,” her latest hit which has sold over 360k to date. It’s the lead single from her upcoming album “Platinum,” due June 3. Brantley Gilbert’s “My Baby’s Guns N’ Roses” is at #12 (76k sold in two weeks). At #13 is Rascal Flatts’ “Rewind,” the title track to their new album which is now Gold-certification eligible after it scanned over 500k (504 RTD) this week! Chris Young’s “Who I Am With You” is another notable this week with sales now over 200k for the hit ballad. Dierks Bentley’s “Drunk On A Plane” is fast rising and once again we have two new songs from The Voice contestants making a dent. Also, Nashville (the TV Show)’s music continues to resonate and that has a couple tracks ALSO taking root inside the Top 30.

  • Craig Campbell “Keep Them Kisses Comin’” at #34 with 117k RTD.
