CMT Announces First Round of CMT Music Awards Performers

Country superstar Blake Shelton is among the top stars announced as performers slated to appear on CMT's Annual June Awards show.

CMT has just announced the first batch of confirmed performers for the annual party that is the CMT Music Awards.

Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan and Miranda Lambert are all confirmed to perform at this year’s live show, which is set to feature more performances this year than ever before. Additional performers as well as the host and presenters will be announced soon. The 2014 CMT Music Awards will be telecast live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, June 4 at 8:00 p.m. EST. 

Fans can vote online for awards at CMT.com and on their mobile devices via CMT Mobile now through June 1 to determine the winners. The six finalists for Video Of The Year will be announced at the beginning of the live show, after which fans can vote throughout the broadcast via CMT.com, CMT Mobile, and text messaging to determine the winner of the night's top prize.
