Bucky Covington’s making some headway with “Buzzin’,” the lead single from his upcoming album due later this year. The song marks Covington’s first venture as a truly independent artist after making albums with Lyric Street Records and eOne Music in the past.
The single (listen here) is garnering buzz from Music Row and grassroots radio stations early in its run with Robert K. Oermann of Music Row stating “Banjo droplet notes and a dreamy vibe reate a heatwive, summertime mood here. Seasonly perfect.” Meanwhile, Dennis Banka of WUCZ states that “Buzzin’ is a bucket list of must-do’s this summer. Bucky is back and we’re all buzzin’ about that.” Finally, Ted Cramer of WIFE declares “This one will definitely get a buzz going with your Audience!.”
In addition to having a new single at radio, Covington will join the CMA Music Festival next month, including a performance at the CMA Bud Light Stage On Sunday June 8, 2014 at 10:30 AM. Additonal perfromances will take place Thursay June 5 at the Wildhorse Saloon and Saturday June 7th at the Rudder/Anchor High Marina in Hendersonville, TN where his annual Fan Club party will take place.
